Black seeds are also known as black cumin, kalongi and black sesame.

It contain many important nutrients that our body need in daily activities. Per 100 gm of black seeds contain:
- Protein – 17 gm
- Fat – 22 gm
- Carbohydrate – 44 gm
It also contain trace elements such as Calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, Vitamin A,C,E and K.
